What is the Recovery Bus
The Recovery Bus is a faith-based, reality show created to bring hope, healing and emotional health to hurting families across America. As producers, our goal is to assemble a dynamic team of mental health experts and take them on the road to homes where families are experiencing trauma, loss, addiction, abuse, anger, avoidance, denial and depression.
As a matter of fact, we have experienced many of these issues ourselves and are passionate about taking this show on the road and living in the victory of breaking destructive family patterns.
Our team of gifted (and often unconventional) therapists will provide tools that will help families find hope and healing while leaving them with resources to move forward in the future.
While it is not our intent to coin phrases, the best definition for the show is Extreme Home Makeover meets Intervention. Nothing about our show is scripted. It is raw reality show designed to pay forward the blessings we have personally experienced.
Our ratings will be held below PG-13 with edits targeted for Sunday Night television. The show will emphasize God’s hand as the primary force for healing and will incorporate a loving Christ as center doctrine. The show will be seeker sensitive with regard to life style and religious preference, as we do not want to segment or limit our audience.
While we endeavor to engage and treat multiple case scenarios, our recruiting framework will include the following:
- Blended Families
- Depression
- OCD and ADD in Children
- Special Needs Children
- Divorce
- Family Dysfunction
- Addiction: drugs, alcohol, shopping, food, etc.
- Codependency: negative belief systems, unhealthy communication
- Death, bereavement
- Homelessness
- Unemployment
- Incarcerated Loved Ones
We are looking forward to bringing this hope to many families across America for years to come. Join us on the road to mental health, deliverance and living a life with peace instead of chaos. Get on the bus!
